Role:	Technical Sales Specialist - Molecular Biology Products
Ref:	ASL-45-03
Location:	Northern England and North Wales
Package:	£25,000 to £30,000 salary (depending on experience), plus £10.5k bonus OTC, company car and benefits

The Role

The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting the Company's portfolio of molecular biology reagents, consumables and instrumentation to clinical and research laboratories across Northern England and North Wales.

The portfolio includes products manufactured by the Company, in addition to innovative and cost-efficient solutions from many of the world's leading life science companies focusing on Genomic and Proteomic research.

Utilising the comprehensive product training supplied by the employer, the Technical Sales Specialist will adopt a consultative approach to selling in order to identify the most critical needs from the customers and then presenting the most appropriate solution from the Company's extensive portfolio.

The Employer

The Company is a leading life science distributor of reagents, consumables and equipment to the Genomic and Proteomic research marketplace. In addition to molecular biology products, the portfolio includes solutions for nucleic acid, protein and tissue analysis, tissue culture, and sample and tracking equipment.

The Candidate

Most suited to this role of Technical Sales Specialist, will be someone with previous proven and successful sales experience within the molecular biology/life science arena.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD, MSc or equivalent qualification in molecular biology or an associated discipline, with a sound knowledge of key molecular and cell biology techniques in the Genomics and Proteomics arena.

A high degree of self-motivation, drive and dedication will serve this role well, in addition to the ability to continually achieve and exceed sales targets.

Candidates will ideally live within easy access of the M62 corridor.
