The Role The Sales Specialist is responsible for developing business for the Company's service and maintenance contracts for chromatography instrumentation with both existing and new clients within the pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, and environmental markets. The service contracts cover a wide variety of branded instrumentation from many of the leading manufactures, including: Agilent, Waters, TSP, Gilson and more. The Employer The Company is the market-leader in the supply of Chromatography (HPLC, GC and Mass Spectrometry) maintenance, which has built an impressive and consistent reputation over the last 21 years, by providing a fast response with professional and efficient engineers, using high-quality consumables and spares. The Company's services are highly-respected and used by many of the key scientific companies and organisations across the UK. The Candidate Most suited to this role would be someone with the desire to take their previous business development experience and/or scientific qualification to new heights of responsibility. This is a pivotal role within a progressive organisation where the successful candidate will be encouraged to use their commercial acumen and/or scientific application to best effect to win important new business. A high degree of self motivation, discipline and self-efficiency would serve this role well, as would a strong interest and ability in meeting and working with clients who would be scientists at the top of their profession.
