Assimilate receives the seal of approval from REC inspectors

Assimilate is pleased to announce it has passed the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s (REC) rigorous inspection programme.

The REC introduced its programme of inspections in 2007, whereby corporate members are visited by an Assessment Officer and assessed against key areas of industry regulations and REC standards.

The REC explains: ‘This scheme is a key part of our strategy to raise standards within the industry and promote our members as professional recruiters. We are also carrying out these inspections to help [our members] ensure that [their] business is compliant with relevant legal requirements.’

Alan Rodgers, Director of Assimilate says: ‘We’re delighted to receive this seal of approval from the REC. The recruitment industry has not always been seen in a positive light by candidates and clients, but the REC’s Code of Practice aims to stamp out the underhand practices of some.

‘We’ve always been proud of the personalised service we offer, our respect for our clients and candidates and the integrity we apply to all areas of our work. It is fantastic news that this has been recognised by the REC through this inspection.’

• Data protection and confidentiality
• Client files
• Induction and staff training

Assimilate has been a member of the REC since the company’s foundation in August 2004 and provides specialist recruitment services to the Scientific, Environmental and Engineering industries across the UK. With its base in Malvern, the Company also provides:

The Department of Work and Pensions awards Assimilate 'Accredited Provider' status

It has been an exciting summer at Assimilate, where, in addition to receiving approval from REC inspectors, the Company has also received 'Accredited Provider' status from the DWP for its work in providing unemployed professionals help and advice through the 'Job Search Support' scheme.
